Why Merino Wool?
SUPER SOFT
Merino feels super-luxe next to the skin – much softer than traditional wool. That’s because the fibres in merino are finer and won’t itch. Additionally, the keratin found in merino has been proven by dermatologists to be beneficial to the softness of human skin – making merino the perfect underwear garment.
ANTI-ODOUR PROTECTION
Merino has natural anti-bacterial properties which resist the build-up of odours. Its complex chemical structure locks the odour molecules within the fibre and only releases them on washing, so it won’t stink at après ski drinks, and it can last for days before you do need to wash it.
REGULATES TEMPERATURE
Merino fibre has a natural crimp which provides Merino garments with superior insulation and breath-ability. Merino garments protect the wearer from extremes of temperature, keeping the wearer warm when the outside temperature is cold, yet cool when the temperature is hot.
ULTRA BREATHABLE
Merino has a natural ability to wick away moisture produced when you’re working hard. This this helps to regulate your temperature and stop you from feeling clammy keeping you warm and comfortable.

Care Instructions
Merino wool is a delicate fabric and needs to be washed with care. We recommend that you wash your Merino garments on a normal warm or cool machine wash cycle with regular powder or liquid clothes washing detergent, not wool detergent and do not use fabric softener or bleach.
As usual, separate your lights and darks and do not expose any Merino garment to heat and do not tumble dry.
- Wash similar colours together
- Wash prints inside out
- Close all zippers
- Do not wash above 40 Degrees and line dry garments – do not tumble dry as this contributes to shrinkage
- Use regular clothes washing detergent, not wool detergent, do not use bleach or fabric softener
- To preserve colours Merino products are best left to line dry or lie flat in the shade.
Pro tip # If you do want to freshen up your Merino products while on holiday but don’t have a washing machine just wear it in the shower and use your regular soap or shower gel on the garment. If it’s safe to go on your skin or your hair it’s safe for Merino wool.
